I pretty much told everyone Conley was "6 months old" until the day he turned 7 months...I tell you, I hang on to everyday with everything in me!
Weight: 20 lbs 10 oz. lbs
Birth: 7 lbs 14 oz
Width: 27 inches
I can't squeeze him tight enough. This baby's smiles hit the feel goods because he smiles with every ounce of his being. Why can't we all do that? I often find myself staring at the back of his little baby head wishing it would stay the same forever. Change is bittersweet, huh?
moving! *as long as he's in my lap. watching fans. holding anything but his toys. splashing at bath time. nursing. saying dada. sticking everything in his mouth. singing.
sleeping. being alone (i.e. no one holding him). pacifiers. cam roars.
play & cognitive development
What can't this boy do? Starting to suck his thumb. Ironically, he started saying dadaada the week Cade came home. He is pushing up on all fours and rocking back & forth. He grabs every toy in sight with both hands & inserts directly into mouth. He is going to be into everything. It's happening.
Ugh. This is a touchy subject with Mr. Conley lately. He likes baby food, but he has started really fussing when he is done eating it. He also refuses to eat a n y t h i n g with texture. He scares me to death when I let him try something...he starts gagging! Like he is choking. Not good on mama's heart. SO lately, we've been sticking to the baby foods and puffs (with extra assistance aka sticking it his mouth til' it dissolves!) He still nurses probably every 3-5 hours. It all just depends on the day & what is going on.
It's been tough, lately! The past two nights, Conley has probably woke up every hour crying. Not really sure what is going on. It's safe to say this boy doesn't like sleep. I think he takes after his brother in the sleep department...afraid he'll miss something!
