Weekend Run Down

The LAST weekend of September.
Can you believe this month has already come and gone?
I am having a hard time realizing just how fast time is passing!
But I am very excited for what October will bring.
Man how blessed are we to see another beautiful month? :)
Since we are talking October,
I have to tell you...
I am soooooo beside myself excited for Cam's first Halloween!
(I know you had no clue...)
I ordered his little costume this weekend!
Eeeep

So excited in fact...
I kinda kicked off my decorate Cam mode this weekend...

Ya know, things like festive baby booty.

Halloween costumes everyday.

Poor kid doesn't stand a chance with a festive mommy freak.

So...Friday evening, we had revival.

Cam and I had to scoot early because, well...
he kind of goes into panic "I need to be home in the bed right now" mode and nobody is happy until he is nice and cozy snoozing with a cover over his head.
(In which I monitor and remove as soon as he is asleep!  Scouts honor! lol)
However, I have definitely been so encouraged this week.
Sometimes you just need a little reminder as to your purpose and priorities in life...

Saturday, we had a great day out with Lolli, C, Lindsey, and Loxley.

And my poor highlighted haystack head had a little much needed TLC...

Buh bye ponytails and buns, hello sleek styled hair!
I feel so much better...
and it was so nice to leave town and have some good girl talk
and laughs with some of my favorite girls and little man of course!

I think I am convincing Cam that shopping can be fun...

Screams, squeals, thrown toys and puffs...

Atlanta may never be the same after Loxley and Cam;)

Sunday ended this perfect fall-ish weekend with
a wonderful church service, family football time with some white chicken chili, blankets, and a Mommy's Prayer meeting!

Of course my sweet Cam sported another tie...
I'm a little obsessed.

{Crochet Hat & Tie, Similar}

He is just such a little ham!

And he finally fit in the first purchase mommy and daddy made for him (and our pregnancy announcement...)

Remember?

My heart has literally beat out of my chest a couple of times this weekend at the thought of the beautiful blessings God has given me.
I am forever indebted.
Happy Monday ladies!

Count every blessing.

Happy Half Birthday!

6 months.
Yes I said it.
My baby is 6 MONTHS OLD!
I know everyone has told me to enjoy this time, because it goes by so fast...
but HALF OF A YEAR...ALREADY...gone??
Doesn't seem possible to me!
Especially looking back at blog posts from last year
when I just began blogging about our new little adventure...

So here it is you guys...
Half a year with our Camster!

A Few Of My Favorite Things:  My snoopy, blankets in my face, my MAM passy's, holding things, teething gel, being tossed around, seeing little kiddos like me!

Not so favorite...getting my face wiped, sleeping (yes we are back to that agian), riding without a buddy, when you quit feeding me!

Milestones: I am sitting up!  Took my 1st big boy bath!  1st new puppy, 1st raspberry, 1st time sleeping away from mommy and daddy for 1/2 the night, 1st juice, 1st taste of "Puffs."

My face: Chubby cheeks, BIG blue eyes, long eyelashes, and did I say I love to blow raspberries??  Well, I do!

Playing make believe with Loxley!

My hair:  Getting thicker by the day!  Mommy loves to spike it:)
My hands:  Always busy searching for the next teething toy.  Anything will do!  Toothpaste...Mom's fresh flowers...chip bags...fingers!

My feet:  I show emotion through my feet...I kick them when I'm excited...mad...you name it!  Watch out!  They are pretty strong and powerful!  I also like to hop up and down in your lap!

Watch him grow!

Music: Raffi (yes the 1970s Raffi childrens music-we love it!), "Ho Hey," I'm slowly trying to spark his interest in Christmas music;)
Best Part of Month(s):  Watching our baby grow up healthy and happy...I wonder sometimes why God blessed me with being a mommy...I think this was the job I was put here to do!

Worst Part of Month:  Penn:/

My favorite products: Snoopy, Raffi music, Boppy, Baby Bullet, Etsy's velcro ties, Baby Converse, organic baby blankets

The Weekend Rundown

Bye Bye Summer, Hello Fall!
And I for one, am NOT sorry to say that:)
This is my second favorite time of year...so it definitely called for a celebration over the weekend...did you do anything special?

The Mr. had a Friday night football date with a coworker friend, was busy Friday night
so Cam and I joined Lolli and Pop for a nice evening celebrating the last summer cookout...

We had Crab legs, Grilled chicken, and Steak, with garden veggies and homemade Japanese white sauce...perfect way to kick off this first fall weekend!

Saturday, the only football I watched sat in my shopping cart!

{Hat} {Cart Cover, Handmade}

We hit the road for the J.Crew manufacturer's sale in Asheville, NC!
Much to my disappointment...the line was ridiculous and it was pouring the rain.
No place for this mommy and baby!
So we opted to go to the "regular" (no sale mind you) J.Crew.
No shopping for mommy and baby here either!
And I was so excited to see what "Crew Cuts" might have for Cambino:/

Mirrors: endless entertainment for this little one!

Don't cry yet...
Fall actually threw up in William Sonoma, so needless to say...
I was in heaven!!  J.Crew who?
I am trying to coax the hubs into budgeting in a few of these beauts!

I don't even have to tell you how excited we were for Target or Home Goods either...
I mean...pinch me I was in pumpkin paradise!

We scored a couple new fall home/baby
decorations to add to the autumn festiveness at home;)

AND I can't leave out that I ventured outside of my comfort zone of Skinny Vanilla Lattes, had my first Pumpkin Spiced Latte to set the mood for the first week of fall.
No regrets here... it was YUM.  MMIE.

And Sunday...
It was Happy Half a Year to my Baby Cam and the first day of FALL!
Nothing could be sweeter:)

{Tie} {Jeans} {Shirt}

I seen this earlier in the week and wanted to share...
"...the secret to "doing it all" is not necessarily doing it all,
but rather discovering which part of the "all" He has
given us to do and
doing all of THAT."
-Jill Briscoe

I don't know about you but my OCD personality needed that!

HAPPY FALL Y'ALL!
