My doctor appointment days are practically the only days I get to fix up & wear something cute...so I take advantage of those days! They make me feel human again & divert my thoughts from concluding that I have turned into a complete top knotted bed slob. At this weeks doctors appointment, I took a maternity top I found from Target & attempted to recreate a maternity look similar to this look by Hayden Panettiere. I really should have rolled my leggings up a bit so they would have elongated my short legs! Oh, well! Who else can't wait for Nashville to start back up? :) 19 DAYS but whose counting? I reaaallllly need to lay off the tv!
And just in case my Nana is reading, I want to make sure & report that I took this photo on my way back from Doctors appointment. Lol. But seriously, I did! *Any photo I take at this point is taken during the time I am allowed up to do the essential*

I opted for flats since we are still seeing late summer temps <<& because I left all my boots in North Dakota:( >>. Seems like blue jean shirts & anything with black are a staple for me this pregnancy? Lol...I didn't go for a black purse because I am glued to this Gold Tote for the time being. It's my favorite, it merges well into fall, it houses spiderman//ninja turtles well. I will probably carry it until it falls apart:)
I do these style posts lightheartedly. While typing it up, I had it on my heart to share a very special verse from the Bible that describes true beauty & style. No matter what we wear or how we look, inner beauty & modesty are what we should strive for (& I never want to lose sight of that in these posts). The Lord see's what is inside our heart, obviously he doesn't care what outfit we chose:) We are beautiful in God's sight even if we are on The Fashion Police's worst dressed list everyday of our life (hahaha-definitley me lately!). That is the most important thing to realize... even though playing around with clothes & make-up sure is fun:)
"Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price." 1 Peter 3:3-4
And just because I can hardly do a post without a picture of my bug. He got a "sark" (shark-not fish!) painted on his face at the Wednesday night church kick-off... Thankful we had family to take him-he had a blast!
You look so cute!!!!!
Thanks Kris, our baby bumps need to meet again soon;)! I miss you!
