Happy Memorial Day! || FRESHLY PICKED GIVEAWAY

In honor of kicking off the summer months this Memorial Day weekend, I am so very excited to announce that Peaches & Pearls is teaming up with one of my favorite companies, Freshly Picked, to host another GIVEAWAY for a pair of their adorable moccasins!   If you're not familiar with this company, you should be!

First of all, I have to share (or maybe just remind you) that I am all about supporting small businesses.  I love to find new small companies that have unique & special items that standout.  I am here to tell you from years (I can't believe I'm saying that) of experience that Freshly Picked is just that.  They have stolen my heart with the sweetest, most comfortable & practical shoe I have came across for a baby's irresistible chubby feet!
moccasins in granite c/o freshly picked
Are you constantly losing shoes or find your little one always has that one sliding on & off their feet?  Not with these!  They stay put no matter what your babe puts them through!
Conley seriously acts like he is in the last leg of running in the Olympic Games with his little lard legs & feet...but these moccs?  They are in for the long haul:)  Not only do they stay on, but they keep his feet clean & warm while complementing just about any outfit I would want to dress him in.  And did I mention the cute factor?  You will never get enough.  I promise!

As a testament to size, my three (nager), Cam, wore these moccasins up until Fall last year in a size 9.  As long as the moccasins fit, he would request them above any other shoe.  The older he grew the rougher he was on them, but they still held up in appearance though the bottoms scuffed up.  Just recently, they introduced a new shoe design for older kids which I am very eager for Cam to try soon!

And if you're like me & get all sentimental...these moccasins capture your babe's sweet little foot print in time.  Sure, if they are well loved it will show on the bottom.  I really can't think of a more precious keepsake<3
Haven't convinced you yet?  Perhaps you just need to win a FREE pair of CHOICE to test out yourself:)
So here's what you have to do to enter...
The giveaway will run from Monday, May 31st-June 6th.  Those who enter will need to make sure of the following:

1. The winner has not won any other giveaway including a pair of Freshly Picked moccasins within the last 60 days.
2. The giveaway is for a pair of SOFT sole moccasins.
3. We require you to follow Freshly Picked on either Facebook or Instagram and Peaches & Pearls on Blogger ;).
I can't think of a better way to start stylin' our babies for summer, can you?:)
Good LUCK!

My People

Since Cade comes in so rarely, I have kind of went crazy with scheduling pictures every time he comes in.  At previous sessions, it seems like we were too rushed, stressed, & stiff or unnatural but THESE.  These are natural.  Real.  Just us.  And those pictures are always my favorite!

I'm p r e t t y sure the Mr. is ready to kill me at this point (he is even giving me the I hate you look in some of these pictures).  Oh well.  I love them.  I also have the excuse of wanting some really great ones to add to our home when we are finally ready to move in!  I have big ideas for these sweet pictures!  But really y'all, these just warm my heart so.  They put a smile on my face & I feel like they truly captured our family perfectly at this time in our lives.  I know, I'll stop rambling on.  So now, which ones make the gallery wall cut? ;)

Since you endured alllllll my Adams spam, I'll give you this one is just for fun...;)
*All pictures were taken by Maria Shook Photography.
If you are ever in the Western North Carolina area...I highly recommend her!
She is so wonderful to work with:)

Mother's Day 2016

My f o u r t h Mothers Day.  It's in the books folks!  And despite the fact that Cam's favorite new word is Poopy Butt & Conley is going though a phase where he refuses to take naps or let me sit him down when I get home from work...it was a wonderful day to stop & look at how the Lord has blessed me as a mother.  My two little munchkins will never know how much it means to me to be their mother.  Sure, motherhood kicks me in the butt daily, but I've said it before, & I'll say it again, it is my purpose.

We started off the week going to Dollywood with the whole family.  Cam is just now getting to the age where he can really appreciate & enjoy theme parks, he did however remember that Dollywood is where the dead pigs are.  Anyone ever been during the BBQ & Gospel Festival?  Yeah.  A little traumatizing lol.

He loved every minute of it.  And we even seen Dolly.  I've been going for basically 25+ years & have never seen the woman.  But y'all.  Dolly just didn't compete with the tiny little snake we seen climbing up a table at the bakery when we first entered the park.  It decided to park itself coiled up on top of the table while everybody crowded around it to watch it...sit.  In other news, while I was gone to nurse Conley, I came back to find that Cam had conned everyone into letting him get his face painted like a sea monster.  Conley was unsure about the train ride, but finally gave in to his first nap of the day.  Oh, & I busted Cam's head as we exited the Scrambler with the metal door.  #momoftheyear

Mother's Day itself was somewhat a blur as there's always so many places to go.  We had a lot of special ladies to honor & sun to soak up.  A special thank you for my hubby for always making Mother's Day special.  He never let's one pass without a corsage to wear to church.  It's the little things...

Like the boys dressed in the same outfit.  Long enough for the church service:P  For some reason, I am always ready to get them in something comfortable.  Snap a picture & head for the comfy cozies boys!

We made all the special momma's in our lives personalized coffee cups...with a bunch of kisses (hershey that is;)  Personal Creations is where it's at!

To end the perfect Mothers Day, somewhere along the way, Cam asked to take our picture...and I'll just leave it at that;)<3

High Five for Friday || 5.20.16

It's been a while since I've done a Friday post...  I've missed it!  I've pretty much been working on IEP's during nap/bedtime these days so the blog has been put on the back burner.  Can you guys believe it's almost the end of May??  We are almost H A L F W A Y through 2016 AND i'm living life with a 6 month old + threenager.  None of this seems possible, y'all!  Here are some of our highlights this week:

1.  (As you've already heard) Daddy came home.  It had probably been more than 6 weeks (no energy here to count) since & we didn't want to let him go back:'(
2.  We may have found our forever home:)  We have signed & agreed upon a price for the house as long as it passes inspections coming up tomorrow morning & Monday we will be good to go & start a closing day countdown!  Feeling very excited!

3.  Conley is starting to babble!  And now he will never be quiet again.  At least that's what happened when Cam began:)  He started saying "Dadadada" as of Monday!  Now to work on mamamamama;)
4.  First real lake day.  As our luck would have it, this week has been one of the southern cold spells leading up to summer.  That didn't stop Cade & Cam, they got in the lake!  It was freeeeeeeezing!  We also went on a boat ride in which we froze to death too.  But it did make us excited for the summer months coming up.
5.  Tis' the season for sweet leg rolls & chubby toes all day long.  I LOVE putting Conley in onesies & hitting the road.  He is just so comfy & cuddly + you can see his sweet little chunky chunks all day long:P
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend,

Daddy's Home!

Life just doesn't seem to slow down these days.  I literally feel like I'm sprinting up an escalator all the while trying to make it come to a screeching halt!  I'd say that's especially true this week...because Daddy is home.  Everytime he comes in we try to cram things that need to be done, seeing family, all while making sure to spend some quality time together into one short week.  It seems I lay down my head down on my pillow at night and I don't even know where I am!

"Life's a changing" as they say... in every way.  The boys are growing & our living/job circumstances are all up in the air.  I just pray that every decision we make is a step toward God's will & purpose for our lives.  I'm excited about the future.

So far this week, we've crammed in house packing up/hunting, family pictures, a high school graduation, (Cam & Cade) took the first summer swim (and maaaaaannnnn has it been cold here!) a windy cold boat ride, & enjoyed a slow Sunday of church with a quick ice cream date by the creek.

In other small talk, Conley hates his life jacket, Cade is a pageant dad when it comes to the boy's hair, & my eyes are crossing after being in Lowes & Home Depot for waaaayy too long trying to compare prices on remodeling supplies.  Cam is totally talking the housing lingo.  We were on our way to church yesterday morning & he was going down the road saying, "so this house is purple, I really like this house it has a door, I really like that house it has lot's a toys."  We're raising a real estate agent or a meteorologist...one of the two.  Idk.  I forgot to mention he choses watching The Weather Channel over Paw Patrol these days.

Again, it's been a blur of blessings that I am very thankful for.  Just another page in our story:)

Happy Monday!
