Perspective Check

The weekend is not exactly what I want to focus on today.
It was a difficult one to say the least...
so on to this beautiful week ahead and the little things that make it so lovely.
I don't know about you but I need some inspiration!

A couple weeks after Cam was born, a friend stood in awe while reminding me of the extraordinary, AMAZING process God performed in order for us to see each precious little part of my sweet baby.
"Just think, the Lord knitted this baby in your womb!"

"I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb. Before you were born I set you apart"
Jeremiah 1:5

What an awesome God we have, and how I fail Him each and every day.

Recently, God sent me another special message in our church service last week.
A sweet lady with breast cancer stood after kneeling at the alter in tears.
She was broken in that she felt she had given herself an excuse to not be as active in her prayer life, specifically with a focus of praying for others.
If SHE can be broken and find no excuse to be in consistent prayer for others,
what excuse do I have?

A new mom trying to juggle a job, a marriage, puppies, and a baby?
No.  Those are not excuses.  Those are blessings!
Even more reasons to be singing his praises...

I love when He takes the time to speak to me & remind me of the important things in life...I tend to need perspective checks every now and then!

"Roll back the curtain, of memory now and then...
show me where you brought me from and where I might have been.
Remember, I'm human.  And humans forget.
So remind me.
Remind me dear Lord..."

Hi Cassidy,
Hey honey, we all need reminding
that is why God calls us sheep, because sheep are dumb........lol
and that would be me for sure, and
many others...........

What a blessing and wonderful attitude that precious lady had...
so neat how the Lord speaks to our
hearts and brings us up higher all the time.......life can be so daily I think that is why we forget, cause we just get caught up in our
own lil world. I do it too, try not to, but it happens.....

Your lil one is so adorable, and how is Mommyhood, you look like you are doing a good job sweetie,
and you are looking marvelous I must say from a few of your pics I have seen. Take care of that lil
sweetie.....if you would like to see ours, come visit, cause the last few posts have pics of her,
she is over 5 mos. now.
Amazing how fast the time does go,
but then, it seems like we have had her forever. I was sick this week so didn't get to watch her, and am missing her like crazy....but have
to wait till Sunday now to see her,
Poo...........lol
Love and blessings, Nellie
